NetEase Games has officially announced the closed beta test for Sword of Justice, its next-generation open-world MMORPG inspired by the Wuxia traditions of 12th-century China. The beta will run from September 26 to October 9, 2025, across Android, iOS, and PC in ten regions, including the United States, Japan, Thailand, and Brazil.
Developed by NetEase’s ZhuRong Studio, Sword of Justice offers a sprawling world filled with ancient architecture, dynamic weather systems, and over 100 playable careers. Unlike traditional MMORPGs, roles are fluid—players can heal as tanks or deal damage as supporters—thanks to a flexible combat system featuring 100 hybrid skills. The game also introduces AI-driven NPCs, seasonal resets, and a Converging Paths system that adapts to player choices.
Players can sign up for the beta by completing a recruitment survey on the official website. Selected participants will receive download instructions via email. The closed beta offers a first glimpse into a world where martial arts, myth, and multiplayer converge.
