Japanese game dev Pujia and Image Labo have officially announce that Recolit will come to mobile platforms, bringing the critically praised pixel-art mystery adventure to iOS and Android. Originally launched for Nintendo Switch and PC (via Steam) in early 2025, the mobile version retains the full narrative experience, now optimized for touch controls and portable play.
In Recolit, players assume the role of a space traveler whose ship crashes in a quiet seaside town where the sun never rises. The town’s residents go about their daily lives under an eternal night, seemingly unaware of the strange circumstances. As the protagonist helps locals with small, often peculiar tasks—like finding a drink or playing with a pigeon—they gradually uncover the deeper mystery behind the town’s darkness and a mysterious girl who seems to know more than she lets on.

The game features a nice storytelling with light puzzle-solving, using a unique mechanic where players manipulate light sources to reveal hidden paths and trigger events. Its minimalist interface and melancholic tone have drawn comparisons to To the Moon and Night in the Woods, while its pixel art and ambient soundtrack have been widely praised for creating an immersive, introspective atmosphere.
The mobile version is available now on Google Play and expected soon on the App Store. It includes cloud save support and a one-time purchase model, with no ads or microtransactions.
