Netmarble announces Solo Leveling: KARMA and Shangri-La Frontier – New anime RPGs

Netmarble has officially announced two major anime-inspired RPGs Solo Leveling: KARMA and Shangri-La Frontier: The Seven Colossi, expanding its portfolio of high-quality mobile and PC titles. Both games were revealed on July 7, 2025, and promise distinct gameplay experiences rooted in beloved anime and webtoon universes.

Solo Leveling: KARMA is a roguelite action RPG for PC and mobile, offering a fresh take on the Solo Leveling universe. Unlike Solo Leveling: ARISE, this title explores a new timeline set 27 years after the Monarch War, filling in a major narrative gap. Players will control Sung Jinwoo in procedurally generated dungeons, facing off against chaotic enemies in isometric, fast-paced combat reminiscent of Hades. The game was unveiled during Anime Expo 2025 and is being built from the ground up as a standalone side story, not a retelling. It will be available on Steam, iOS, and Android, with pre-registration details expected soon via the official site.

Meanwhile, developed by Netmarble Nexus, Shangri-La Frontier: The Seven Colossi is a 3D mobile RPG based on the hit anime and manga series. Designed for iOS and Android, the game features one-handed controls, tag-team combat, and massive boss battles against towering Colossi. Players can switch between two characters mid-fight, combining accessibility with strategic depth. The game also boasts cinematic visuals and original voice acting, with Yuma Uchida and Rina Hidaka reprising their roles as Sunraku and Emul.

None of them have an announced release date, so we must wait a few more days to learn more details. But there goes Netmarble with more anime games, Seven Deadly Sins Origin is coming soon, so we can expect these both games comes after that release.
