Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy is an upcoming free-to-play mobile action RPG developed by Square Enix in collaboration with NHN PlayArt. As the latest entry in the Dissidia Final Fantasy series, the game reimagines the franchise’s iconic crossover battles with a competitive twist.
Players form teams of legendary Final Fantasy characters and engage in 3v3 boss battle arenas, where two squads race to defeat roaming monsters and massive bosses faster than their opponents. The game blends fast-paced combat with strategic coordination, offering a fresh take on the series’ traditional fighting mechanics.
The game features a wide roster of heroes from across the Final Fantasy universe, each with unique abilities and roles suited for team-based encounters. Players can customize their squads, unlock new skills, and participate in both single-player and multiplayer modes.
Currently, Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy is in its pre-release phase, with a closed beta test scheduled for November 6–14, 2025 in select regions including the United States and Canada. The game is set to launch globally in 2026, and will be available on iOS and Android platforms.
