Silicon Universe is an ambitious cross-platform space sandbox RPG developed by Tencent Games, blending open-world exploration, survival mechanics, and interstellar strategy. Set in a vast, procedurally generated galaxy, the game invites players to lead one of five distinct civilizations, each with its own lore, technology, and ambitions. The core gameplay revolves around resource management, cyborg recruitment, and territorial expansion, as players navigate hostile planets and cosmic anomalies.
Built with Unreal Engine, Silicon Universe offers richly detailed 3D environments—from barren moons to lush alien biomes—where players must gather resources, construct bases, and engage in tactical combat. A standout feature is the cyborg companion system, which allows players to collect and upgrade powerful AI allies with unique abilities, essential for both survival and conquest. Currently in development, Silicon Universe was showcased at Tencent’s SPARK 2025 conference, where it drew attention for its scale and ambition.
