Caverna – Classic Board Game available on Android and iOS

Berlin-based studio DIGIDICED (known for digital adaptations of popular board games), has officially released Caverna on Android, iOS, and PC (vía Steam). Originally designed by Uwe Rosenberg and released in 2013, Caverna is a strategy board game that challenges players to manage a dwarf tribe, expand their cavern, and optimize resource management.

The digital version of Caverna stays true to its board game roots while introducing modern enhancements. Players can switch between the classic board game look and a fresh visual experience with the 3D version. The game supports solo play against AI opponents, as well as multiplayer matches with up to seven players, either live or asynchronously. Weekly challenges, leaderboards, and a playback system add layers of engagement for both casual and competitive players.

One of Caverna’s standout features is its deep strategic gameplay. Players must balance mining, farming, and crafting while making crucial decisions that shape their tribe’s success. Whether focusing on breeding animals, forging weapons, or expanding their cavern, every choice impacts the game’s outcome.
