Goddess Order enters indefinite maintenance, developer faces operational crisis

The mobile gacha game Goddess Order has entered an indefinite maintenance period just one month after its official launch, shocking both players and the broader community. As we know, the developer PixelTribe has cited “financial and operational difficulties” as the reason they cannot continue rolling out new content.

Publisher Kakao Games confirmed via the game’s official X (formerly Twitter) account that key updates scheduled for early and mid-November have been cancelled, and that all in-app purchases have been halted in order to prevent further user disruption. Players can still access the app in its current state, but no new content, events or maintenance is planned for the foreseeable future.

Goddess Order launched globally after a soft-launch period, offering side-scrolling tag-team ARPG gameplay with handcrafted 2D pixel art. Players assembled trios of knights, executed combo attacks, and progressed through story-driven campaigns and live-service style content. Despite the promising setup and good reviews and downloads in the Google Play Store, the market’s increasingly saturated gacha space and lofty development costs appear to have placed this title in a precarious financial position almost immediately.

For now, the fate of Goddess Order remains uncertain.
