English indie studio Coatsink have announced the global release of ISLANDERS Mobile for November 20, 2025, bringing the award-winning minimalist city builder to iOS and Android. Originally released on PC and later ported to consoles as Islanders: New Shores, the mobile version offers a faithful adaptation with updated touch controls, Game Center and Google Play integration, and leaderboards for competitive scoring.
Islanders is a procedurally generated city-building game where players place structures on colorful, low-poly islands to maximize points. Unlike traditional city sims, there are no resource chains or timers—just strategic placement and aesthetic satisfaction. The mobile version includes 44 building types, seven island biomes, and Boons, which offer gameplay modifiers and scoring bonuses.
The port will retain the relaxing atmosphere and visual clarity of the original, with no ads or microtransactions. Players can enjoy both score-chasing and sandbox modes, making it ideal for short sessions or extended play. You can pre-register in Google Play Store and iOS App Store.
