Polish studio Forever Entertainment has officially launched Night Slashers: Remake, bringing the classic 1993 horror beat ’em up to Android and iOS. Originally developed by Data East, this remake modernizes the arcade game with revamped visuals, enhanced combat mechanics, and new gameplay modifiers, while staying true to its fast-paced, side-scrolling action.
Set in a nightmarish world overrun by supernatural creatures, Night Slashers: Remake lets players battle hordes of zombies, mutants, and werewolves across seven unique stages. The game features four playable characters, each with distinct fighting styles, allowing players to unleash devastating combos and special moves against monstrous foes.
One of the standout features of the remake is its dynamic lighting effects and updated character selection screen, which add a modern touch to the retro-inspired gameplay. Players can also adjust difficulty settings, activate gameplay modifiers, and experience a haunting soundtrack, a lot of nostalgia for sure.
