Tsukuyomi: The Divine Hunter – New roguelike card game announced by COLOPL

Japanese studio COLOPL has officially unveiled Tsukuyomi: The Divine Hunter, a free-to-play card creation roguelike game developed in collaboration with renowned illustrator Kazuma Kaneko. Scheduled for release this spring, the game will be available on PC via Steam, iOS via the App Store, and Android via Google Play, supporting English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese languages. The game formerly known as Project Mask.

Set within THE HASHIRA, a state-of-the-art, ultra-high-rise complex in Tokyo’s bayside area, players will navigate a sealed-off environment teeming with monstrous entities. As members of the elite organization Tsukuyomi, tasked with protecting the nation, players embark on a mission to eliminate a target lurking at the tower’s summit.

The game features a deckbuilding roguelike system, where players utilize a variety of cards with distinct abilities to battle enemies and progress through the dungeon. Each run offers a unique experience, with the types of cards acquired and the dungeon’s structure changing every time. Combat unfolds through turn-based card battles, requiring strategic adaptation to the randomly drawn cards. During exploration, players will encounter branching paths and various events that necessitate critical decision-making, significantly influencing the journey’s outcome.
