After the Bloons Card Storm announcement, Ninja Kiwi Games has officially announced their upcoming game, Zombie Assault: Resurgence, a twin-stick horde shooter with RPG elements, slated for release on both mobile and PC in 2025. Set 100 years after the events of SAS: Zombie Assault 4, the game takes place in the Thrace system, which has been overrun by zombies. With the SAS now gone, players take on the role of mercenaries, choosing from three character classes, each with unique abilities and upgrade paths.
In this new game, players will strengthen their mercenary through RPG-style upgrades, gathering weapons and armor to defend the remaining survivors. The game promises deeper gameplay replayability, an immersive experience and more zombie-blasting action compared to its predecessor. We don’t have screenshots yet, but they should come soon.
Devs plans to keep players updated with regular developer diaries and beta testing phases in the lead-up to the release. there are no links yet, but more info on their Discord, Reddit or their X/Twitter account.
