Scarlet Tide: ZeroERA (赤潮 ZeroERA) is an upcoming 2.5D turn-based RPG developed by Yomio Studio, set in a post-apocalyptic world shaped by a mysterious planetary phenomenon known as the Scarlet Tide. This supernatural force emerged in response to environmental devastation caused by previous generations, halting human growth in adolescence and granting near-immortality to select individuals. The game explores the ethical and emotional consequences of this altered reality, following a delicate-looking protagonist as he navigates a society where youth and longevity are both a gift and a burden.
The gameplay combines sandbox-style exploration with strategic combat, encouraging players to interact with a dynamic world while carefully planning their battles. The visual design blends stylized anime elements with realistic detail, creating a unique 2.5D aesthetic that supports both narrative depth and immersive gameplay. Themes of renewal, punishment, and survival are central to the story, which promises to challenge players with moral dilemmas and layered character development.
Currently, Scarlet Tide: ZeroERA is in development and scheduled for release in 2025. It will be available on PC via Steam, as well as Android and iOS platforms.
