Mastra – Nusantara inspired MOBA enters Open Beta in SEA

Todak Studios has officially launched the open beta for Mastra, a 5v5 mobile MOBA now available in Southeast Asia on Android and iOS. The game draws inspiration from 7th-century Nusantara mythology, offering a unique blend of elemental combat, chakra-based upgrades, and strategic lane battles.

Unlike traditional MOBAs such as Mobile Legends: Bang Bang or Honor of Kings, Mastra features a two-lane map and removes the conventional item shop system. Instead, players enhance their Champions through elemental affinities—fire, wind, nature, and sea—and chakra upgrades, creating a streamlined yet tactical progression system. Heroes like Rakai, Remaung, Shima, and Ratna each bring distinct abilities rooted in Southeast Asian folklore.

The game’s dark, DOTA-like aesthetic and mythic setting have sparked interest across SEA gaming communities. While a global release date has not yet been confirmed (here is the official website), pre-registration is available via the Google Play Store, and iOS users can join via TestFlight.
