Epic Conquest X confirms October Global Release

Gaco Games, the Indonesian indie studio, has officially set the global launch for its anime-style Action RPG, Epic Conquest X, for later this month. The new installment marks a significant pivot for the popular mobile franchise, transitioning from its roots as an offline, single-player experience into a fully fledged live-service gacha title. Following a period of limited Early Access exclusively in Indonesia, the game is now poised to enter the international mobile market.

Epic Conquest X continues the story centuries after the events of Epic Conquest 2, setting players loose in a vibrant, yet lighthearted, post-apocalyptic world. The gameplay features real-time hack-and-slash combat, requiring strategic party switching between core characters like Leon and Mavis to utilize varied weapon arsenals and skills.

The combat-focused design, which rewards player effort over automation, stays true to the series’ core identity while introducing a new level of complexity suited for the live-service environment.

The shift to a gacha system has generated substantial discussion, where long-time fans have debated the viability of the model for an indie project. However, Gaco Games has sought to reassure the community, claiming the monetization structure will feature a “fair” reward system heavily weighted toward time investment.
