Brotato Mobile is coming to iOS and Android this November

Indie game studio Blobfish Games has announce that their hit bullet-heaven roguelite Brotato is officially heading to mobile this November, following the successful rollout of its massive “New Dawn” update on PC. The mobile version will launch on both iOS and Androi.

if you are not familiar with the game, in Brotato, players control a heavily armed potato—the last survivor of a spaceship crash—who must fend off relentless waves of alien enemies. The game’s signature mechanic allows players to wield up to six weapons simultaneously, creating a frenetic and strategic combat loop. With dozens of characters, hundreds of items, and a wide range of builds, Brotato offers deep replayability in bite-sized runs.

The upcoming mobile release will include all content from the recent “New Dawn” update, which introduced a revamped ban system, new weapons, fresh items, and extensive quality-of-life improvements. According to the official developer update, the update also enhances performance and UI responsiveness—key features that will benefit mobile players:

Touch controls have been optimized for mobile devices. While pricing details have yet to be confirmed, the game is expected to follow a premium model similar to its PC counterpart.

Originally launched in Early Access in 2022 and developed by solo dev Blobfish, Brotato has become a ncie addition in the auto-shooter genre, often compared to Vampire Survivors but with more build diversity and faster-paced gameplay.
