Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Survivor – Launch Set for February 2026

Bushiroad Games, in collaboration with WonderPlanet, has officially announced that Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Survivor will release on February 18, 2026. The game, revealed during Jump Festa 2026, is a free-to-play mobile roguelite that blends survival mechanics with the iconic Nen abilities from Yoshihiro Togashi’s legendary manga. Players will control familiar characters such as Gon, Killua, and Hisoka, mowing down waves of enemies in short, intense sessions optimized for one-hand play. The design emphasizes accessibility, with auto-mode progression for casual players and multiple difficulty tiers for those seeking deeper challenges.

Development of Nen x Survivor reflects Bushiroad’s growing interest in anime-based mobile titles, following projects like Love Live! School Idol Festival. Unlike traditional gacha RPGs, this game leans into roguelike mechanics, offering randomized skill builds, party synergies, and replayable stages. Nen x Survivor arrives at a time when anime-inspired mobile roguelites are gaining traction. Its free-to-play model with in-app purchases mirrors industry standards, but the Hunter x Hunter brand gives it a competitive edge.

However, the challenge will be sustaining long-term engagement in a genre often criticized for repetitive gameplay. Bushiroad’s promise of “infinite builds” and regular updates could be the key to keeping players invested. Regionally, Bushiroad has confirmed a Global launch, with no major restrictions announced. That said, localized monetization and event schedules may vary, particularly in Asian markets where anime mobile games traditionally receive exclusive campaigns.
