Inazuma Eleven: Cross, the latest mobile entry in Level-5’s beloved football RPG series, will launch in Japan on June 9, 2026 for iOS and Android. The game is free-to-play with in-app purchases, and pre-registration is already open.
Inazuma Eleven: Cross is developed by Level-5 in collaboration with Aiming, marking a new chapter for the franchise that has captivated fans since its debut in 2008. Unlike console-focused predecessors, this title is designed specifically for mobile audiences, emphasizing short-session play, accessible controls, and strategic management mechanics.
The game introduces a new protagonist, Yo Shiosawa, who acts as a manager guiding the team rather than directly controlling players on the field. His personal storyline—centered on the mysterious disappearance of his brother—adds a narrative layer distinct from earlier entries. Matches prioritize light strategy and tactical choices, where players define formations, skills, and tactics, then watch matches unfold dynamically.

The game features Player Collection & Training: Recruit characters from across the series and enhance them through progression systems. Special Moves: Classic techniques like Mamoru Endo’s God Hand and Yuto Kido’s Illusion Ball return, faithfully recreated with modern visuals. Events & Seasonal Content: Limited-time campaigns allow unlocking rare characters and commemorative items, such as the Japan National Team 2026 Project, which adds Endo and Kido in national team uniforms.
At launch, Inazuma Eleven: Cross will be available only in Japan via the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. International release plans have not yet been confirmed, meaning overseas fans may need to wait for localization announcements.
