Doomsday: A Mad Science Game lets players build world-destroying devices on iOS

Indie developer Joshua Richmond has launched Doomsday: A Mad Science Game on iOS (and PC), where players have to embrace the chaotic role of a mad scientist out to rule the world. In this fast-paced deck builder with roguelike elements game, players construct a doomsday device equipped with a laser cannon mounted on a spider-legged robot. The journey includes battling everything from local bullies to mythical monsters like the fearsome Kongclops.

The official website is full with details, but I can say gameplay centers on assembling powerful components through card synergies and collecting artifacts, rather than relying solely on combat. Each level provides seven turns to gather enough points to overcome opponents, with a choice of over 150 cards and 100 artifacts to create a variety of strategic combinations. As you progress through 15 levels, you’ll refine your deck, enhancing your doomsday device with new and rare items.

The game looks nice, but it is a premium game. The price for a one-time purchase is $4.99, but it will be free from ads, loot boxes, or microtransactions. If you like indie, deck building, roguelike and free from ads games, check at the iOS App Store, or in PC via Steam.
