JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Ora Ora Overdrive opens pre-registration

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Ora Ora Overdrive, a new simulation RPG from famous studio gumi Inc., is set to launch in September 25 on iOS and Android in Japan. Based on the legendary manga and anime series by Hirohiko Araki, the game brings together characters from the first five parts of the franchise—Phantom Blood through Golden Wind—in a stylish, tactical mobile experience.

The game features a grid-based battle system with auto-combat options, allowing players to build their dream team of JoJo heroes and villains. Characters like Jonathan Joestar, Jotaro Kujo, and Giorno Giovanna will be fully voiced, and players can equip Assist Cards that depict iconic scenes from the anime to enhance their team’s abilities.

Beyond combat, Ora Ora Overdrive includes a relationship chart, a detailed picture book, and a bonding system that lets players deepen connections with their favorite characters. The game’s visuals are described as stunning, with faithful recreations of the anime’s signature style and dramatic flair.

Pre-registration is now open via the official App Store and Google Play listings in Japan. What about an international release? Mmmm… Gumi is not famous for international releases, its last game was based on the Final Fantasy franchise and closed some time ago. But, first let’s see how this new Jojo game is doing and if it has English language support.
