Aniplex Inc. is a Japanese entertainment company founded in 1995 and headquartered in Tokyo. A subsidiary of Sony Music Entertainment Japan, Aniplex is best known for producing and distributing anime, music, and video games. The company has played a major role in the success of iconic franchises like Fate/stay night, Sword Art Online, and Demon Slayer, and has created titles such as Fate/Grand Order and AlternaVvelt: Blue Exorcist Another Story.

Aniplex of America, established in Santa Monica, California, serves as the company’s North American branch. It focuses on localizing and distributing anime and games for Western audiences. Aniplex USA has released Blu-rays, DVDs, and digital content for fan-favorite series like Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Your Lie in April, and Blue Exorcist. It also launched the English version of Fate/Grand Order in 2017, which has surpassed three million downloads.
