Hyper Games

Hyper Games is an independent game studio based in Oslo, Norway, founded in 2012. The studio is known for its creative and visually striking games, including Mørkredd and Eggggg, and for its focus on unique gameplay mechanics, storytelling, and artistic design. With a team of 13 developers, Hyper Games specializes in puzzle, adventure, and experimental games, often incorporating hand-crafted visuals and immersive narratives.

Hyper Games developed Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley, a story-rich musical adventure based on Tove Jansson’s beloved Moomin stories. Players guide the wandering musician Snufkin as he works to restore harmony in Moominvalley, blending open-world exploration, puzzles, stealth, and melodic elements. The game launched on PC, macOS, and Nintendo Switch in 2024 before reaching PlayStation and Xbox, with a mobile version published by SnapBreak Games.
