PAN Studio

PAN Studio is a Chinese game developer headquartered in Beijing and a subsidiary of Hero Games, best known for the dark-fantasy action RPG Duet Night Abyss. The game follows the Charons, a subset of humans able to wield magic who face severe discrimination, with a resistance movement rising against both oppressive ruling forces and Charons who allied with them. It offers a semi-open world with fast-paced combat that lets players switch fluidly between ranged firearms and close-quarters melee, supported by sliding, rolling and aerial maneuvers. Characters can be upgraded through levels, equipment, weapons and skills, providing deep customization. Duet Night Abyss debuted with its first trailer in October 2023 and has since undergone several closed beta tests, with global releases planned across Android, iOS and PC through its parent company Hero Games, which serves as publisher.
