Riot Games

Riot Games is an American video game developer and publisher founded in 2006 and headquartered in Los Angeles, now a wholly owned subsidiary of Tencent. It made its name with League of Legends, which debuted in 2009 and became one of the most played PC games in the world as well as a dominant force in esports. Riot later expanded its universe with Teamfight Tactics, Legends of Runeterra and the tactical shooter VALORANT, and extended its storytelling into the animated series Arcane.

Riot is also bringing VALORANT to mobile. Valorant Mobile adapts the game’s core 5v5, round-based action to touchscreens, preserving precise gunplay, agent abilities and Spike planting mechanics for iOS and Android. Having launched in China, the mobile version has also undergone regional closed beta testing as it prepares for wider release.
