Rovio Entertainment is a Finnish video game developer and publisher founded in 2003 and headquartered in Espoo. The company achieved worldwide fame with Angry Birds, a physics-based slingshot game released in 2009 that became one of the most downloaded mobile games in history and grew into a franchise spanning sequels, spin-offs, animated films and merchandise. In 2023 Rovio was acquired by Sega.

Rovio is behind Angry Birds Bounce, a grid-based puzzle game that reinvents the classic formula by having players bounce birds off walls to pop pigs. Set on a tropical island, it brings back fan-favorite characters and introduces Gordon to the franchise, layering in roguelite elements that keep each level fresh. Angry Birds Bounce launches exclusively on Apple Arcade.
