SoWhat is a Japanese mobile game developer known for its long-running work on the Medabots (Medarot) franchise in partnership with publisher Imagineer, having previously developed the mobile game Medarot S: Unlimited Nova. Its current Medabots project, Medabots Survivors, is the latest entry in the iconic robot-battling series that first gained popularity in the late 1990s through its anime and Game Boy titles. Players collect and customize Medabots by assembling different parts such as heads, arms, and legs to create unique combat strategies. The game blends nostalgia with modern mobile RPG mechanics, offering cinematic turn-based battles, story-driven progression, and gacha-style collection systems, with tactical team-building at its core. Players can take part in story campaigns, competitive PvP matches, and limited-time events rewarding rare parts and exclusive Medabots. Medabots Survivors is currently in its global pre-registration phase, available on both the App Store and Google Play.
