Ubisoft Montreal

Ubisoft Montreal is one of Ubisoft’s largest studios and among the biggest game development teams in the world. Based in Montreal, Canada, and founded in 1997, it has played a central role in major franchises including Assassin’s Creed, Watch Dogs and Prince of Persia, as well as the Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six line.

The studio has also been a driving force behind Ubisoft’s move into mobile. It is developing Rainbow Six Mobile, a free-to-play tactical 5v5 shooter that adapts Rainbow Six Siege’s destructible environments, Operator roster and strategic teamwork for touch devices. Now in soft launch across several regions, the game lets players attack and defend on iconic maps such as Bank and Border, delivering the series’ competitive depth in shorter, mobile-friendly sessions.
