Digimon Alysion

Digimon Alysion is an upcoming free-to-play digital trading card game developed and published by Bandai. Announced during Digimon Con 2025, the game adapts the physical Digimon Card Game—originally launched in 2020—into a mobile format for iOS and Android devices. Pre-registration opened worldwide on October 28, 2026 on the App Store and Google Play, although an exact release date has still not been confirmed. A closed beta test ran in the summer of 2025 and wrapped up with a survey report in September of that year. The game introduces a digital version of existing cards, known as DigiAly, alongside mobile-exclusive cards and characters. Players will engage in online matchmaking, deck-building, and animated card battles, with mechanics that mirror the physical game’s strategic depth.

A unique Memory meter system governs turn flow and action execution, adding tactical nuance to each match. Additionally, Digimon Alysion incorporates elements of Digimon raising, allowing players to nurture virtual partners in a style reminiscent of Tamagotchi. Narratively, the game features original characters such as Kanata Hondo and her partner Gemmon, suggesting a story mode that intertwines with traditional card gameplay. With its blend of competitive strategy, collectible elements, and nostalgic pet-raising mechanics, Digimon Alysion aims to appeal to both longtime fans and newcomers.
