INAZUMA ELEVEN: Heroes’ Victory Road (Heroes’ Victory Road ) is the long-awaited next chapter in the beloved Inazuma Eleven franchise, developed and published by Level-5. Set to release worldwide on August 21–22, 2025, the game marks a bold return to the series’ roots while introducing a fresh narrative and modernized gameplay systems.
The game takes place 25 years after the original Inazuma Eleven timeline, following a new protagonist named Destin Billows, a boy who once loved soccer but now suffers from a trauma that prevents him from playing. Enrolling at South Cirrus Junior High, Destin’s path crosses with Harper Evans, a prodigy from the prestigious Raimon Institute. Their encounter sets the stage for a new generation of soccer legends to rise.
Heroes’ Victory Road features three main modes: Story Mode, which follows Destin’s journey; Chronicle Mode, where players can relive iconic matches from across the franchise; and Competition Mode, which supports online and offline multiplayer with team customization and spectator options. The game also introduces a “Free Soccer Interface”, allowing players to control characters in real-time during matches, blending RPG elements with dynamic soccer gameplay.
Visually, the game is a standout, with anime cutscenes produced by MAPPA, the studio behind Jujutsu Kaisen and Attack on Titan: Final Season. These cinematic sequences elevate the emotional stakes and bring the story to life like never before. The game will be available on Nintendo Switch, Consoles, and PC (Steam), there is a Mobile Edition planned too.
