Before diving into the tutorial, it’s important to note that this guide assumes you’re adding pre-existing friends. If you’re looking to add strangers or new acquaintances, simply tap the app’s “Add Friends” button within the Friends menu, where you’ll find a list of suggested friends.
Adding Friends from Your Contact List:
By adding friends from your contact list on Android or iOS, you can earn up to 30 free dice rolls. This method involves granting Monopoly Go access to your phone’s contact list. Once you’ve synced your contacts, you can revoke the app’s permission to access them. Here’s how:
1. Launch Monopoly Go.
2. Navigate to the “Friends” tab in the bottom right corner.
3. Tap “Contacts” under the “Add Friends” tab.
4. Select “Add Contacts.”
5. Input your phone number and proceed with “Continue.”
Adding Friends Through Facebook:
Connecting with Facebook friends earns you 25 free dice rolls and is the simplest way to add friends on this game. Once your account identifies friends linked to Monopoly Go via Facebook, it automatically populates your in-app friends list.
Inviting Friends via Invite Link
You can invite friends who haven’t played Monopoly Go by sending them installation links. Though a bit more manual, this method provides access to anyone with your invitation link. You can share the link directly, via messaging apps, or on social media platforms. If issues arise, ensure invitees clear their browser history.
Creating New Monopoly Go Accounts:
