Ananta – Urban gacha RPG confirmed for Tokyo Game Show 2025

NetEase Games and its developer, Naked Rain, have officially confirmed that their highly anticipated open-world urban RPG, ANANTA, will have a presence at Tokyo Game Show 2025. The event, held at Makuhari Messe from September 25th to September 28th, will be a major showcase for the game, which was previously known by its codename, Project Mugen.

The game’s booth will be located in Hall 6 (C06), where attendees will get a chance to experience the latest content. This hands-on opportunity is a strong signal of the developers’ confidence in the game and provides a vital chance for fans to see the game’s unique urban exploration mechanics in action. Finally a opportunity to get a closer look at a title that promises parkour, vehicle traversal, and seamless open-world design, drawing comparisons to titles like Spider-Man and Grand Theft Auto.

The game, which casts players as an “Infinite Trigger” investigating paranormal events in the bustling Nova City, has been in development for several years. Its presence at TGS 2025 is expected to reveal more details about its monetization model, official release date, and other features that have been kept under wraps.
