Angry Birds Rush – Time-traveling adventure enters early access in the US

Rovio Entertainment, in collaboration with Dark Matter Play studio, has launched Angry Birds Rush in early access for iOS and Android users in the United States, a physics-based action with time-travel mechanics game full of ancient temples, medieval villages, and modern skylines in a chaotic race against rival flocks.

Unlike traditional tower-smashing formats, Angry Birds Rush introduces raid mechanics, where players attack pig-built camps for resources and rebuild their own bases before retaliation. Each bird retains its signature powers, creating explosive chain reactions across destructible environments. The game also features endless progression, unlockable eras, and leaderboard competitions, encouraging both casual and competitive play.

While the global release date remains unconfirmed, Rovio has stated that Angry Birds Rush will receive frequent updates during its early access phase, including new birds, themed eras, and expanded raid systems. Players in the US can download Angry Birds Rush now via the App Store and Google Play, with more regions expected to follow later this year.
