Halfbrick Studios, in collaboration with BBC Studios and Bluey creator Joe Brumm, has announced that Bluey’s Quest for the Gold Pen will officially launch on iOS and Mac on December 11, 2025. The game is a story-driven adventure based on the beloved Australian animated series, and it marks the franchise’s first premium mobile title. What about Android? a release on Android is expected in early 2026, followed by console and PC versions in June.
In this original narrative, Bluey embarks on a whimsical journey through hand-drawn fantasy realms after her dad, Bandit, mischievously steals the magical Gold Pen she needs to finish her story. With help from her sister Bingo—who transforms into her alter ego “Bingoose”—and her mum, who designs the world’s landscapes, Bluey must solve puzzles, explore imaginative lands, and reclaim the pen from the self-proclaimed “King Goldie Horns.”

The game features nine distinct realms, each filled with secrets, side quests, and “trifficult” challenges. It’s designed for family-friendly play, offering a free trial with the option to unlock the full experience via a one-time purchase. There are no ads or microtransactions, aligning with the show’s values of creativity, kindness, and exploration.
Just remember this is a premium game, pre-orders are now live on the Apple App Store for iOS and in the Google Play Store for Android, more details can be found on the official Bluey site.
