Chasing Kaleidorider begins Beta Test for a global release

The upcoming RPG Chasing KaleidoRider (チェイシング・カレイドライダー), developed by Fizzglee Studio—a subsidiary of Tencent Gameshas officially begun its closed beta testing (CBT). Participants who previously signed up for the opportunity are now receiving invitations, granting them a first-hand look at the game’s unique blend of “Doki-Doki” romance, turn-based combat, and high-speed motorcycle action.

Fizzglee Studio has been building interest for Chasing KaleidoRider for several months, with a previous closed beta test conducted exclusively for Japanese players to gather initial feedback. The current, wider CBT is a crucial phase for the developers to stress-test the game’s servers, refine its combat mechanics, and ensure a smooth user experience.

The game is set in the futuristic city of “Terminus,” which is plagued by a mysterious anomaly known as “Hysteria”—creatures born from humanity’s negative consciousness. Players assume the role of a “Navigator,” a key figure who possesses the power to see and combat these threats, as they lead a team of beautiful girls known as “RIDERS” into battle.

The game stands out from other gacha RPGs with its core gameplay loop. It comes with… real-time motorcycle chases with strategic, turn-based battles. Each RIDER girl is not only a combat unit but also a potential romantic interest, with relationships and intimate interactions directly impacting gameplay.

According to the official Japanese announcement by Dengeki Online, the game’s “Doki-Doki RPG” elements are central to its design, allowing players to unlock special powers and new story chapters by deepening their bonds with the characters. The game’s stunning 3D anime-style visuals and a soundtrack featuring popular artists like 96neko have further amplified fan excitement.

While the current test is limited to a select group of players on Android and iOS devices, the game will be available on PC too. You can get more on their Discord Channel.
