FIFA, in collaboration with New York-based studio Enver and publisher Solace, has announced FIFA Heroes, a fast-paced 5v5 arcade football game launching in 2026 for iOS, Android and consoles. The game will include real-world football icons, FIFA mascots, and beloved fictional characters into a multiverse-style experience aimed at both casual and competitive players.
Designed to capture the drama and speed of street football, FIFA Heroes features dynamic physics, pitch-shattering power moves, and tactical squad-building. Players can create dream teams using characters from FIFA’s history—including mascots like Maple (Canada), Zayu (Mexico), and Clutch (USA), each with unique abilities tied to the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026.

The game offers both player-versus-environment (PvE) career progression and head-to-head multiplayer modes. According to Enver founder Kyle Joyce, the project aims to “put the love of football into play” by merging nostalgia with modern gameplay. FIFA’s director of gaming and esports, Christian Volk, emphasized the title’s role in expanding the FIFAe digital ecosystem and engaging new generations of fans.
While gameplay footage is still under wraps and the official announcement trailer (above) doesn’t show much. But lets see if FIFA Heroes is a new entry and interesting game in the mobile sports genre, or… just not. More on the official website and the official Discord Channel.
