Haigakura – Mobile game adaptation of anime manga announced

The acclaimed manga and anime Haigakura (尋神の旅路), created by Shinobu Takayama, is officially being adapted into a mobile game titled Haigakura: Puzzle of the Immortal Realm. The game is currently in development for iOS and Android, with further details—including release date and gameplay footage—expected in the coming months.

Set in a world where gods have vanished and divine myths are fading, Haigakura follows the journey of Ichiyo, a poetic “song priest” tasked with retrieving lost deities using sacred verses. The mobile game will retain the series’ core themes of spiritual restoration and mythic exploration, while introducing puzzle-based gameplay and strategic team-building mechanics. Players will travel alongside Ichiyo and the divine envoy Shinkou, confronting corrupted gods known as the “Four Calamities.”

Here is the official announcement. The game is being developed by Typhoon Graphics, the studio behind the anime’s relaunch, and is expected to feature voice acting, collectible characters, and a story mode that mirrors the original manga’s arc. While monetization details remain unconfirmed, the game will be free-to-play with optional in-app purchases.
