NCSOFT’s latest RPG Hoyeon (호연) (translations are difficult) has quickly soared to the top of the store rankings in Japan, Korea, and Taiwan just one day after its release on August 28, 2024. The game, available on iOS, Android, and PC, has captivated players with its rich storyline and strategic gameplay set in the world three years before the events of the MMORPG Blade & Soul.
However I saw there ratings are mixed, at least. But the launch events don’t stop, so, in order to celebrate the game’s success, NCSOFT is rewarding players with in-game items, including a “Special Hero Guaranteed Recruitment Ticket,” 10 “Hero Recruitment Tickets,” and two “Rich Gold Coin Bags.” These rewards will be distributed via in-game mail and are available until October 27, 2024.
Hoyeon (호연) (as we saw before) allows players to build a deck from over 60 unique characters, engaging in both real-time action field battles and turn-based tactical battles. The game is available for download on the App Store, Google Play, and NCSOFT’s cross-platform service, PURPLE.
