GAGEX, japanese studio known for its heartwarming and story-driven games, has opened pre-registration for its latest title, Hungry Hearts Restaurant (思い出レストラン 心にしみる Showa Saberズ). In this game we should help a grandmother and granddaughter restore their family’s beloved Western restaurant to its former glory. The announce was made in the official website.
Set in a nostalgic Showa-era town, the game is all about story-driven gameplay and management mechanics. Players will guide the two protagonists as they revive the business a small eatery known for its carefully crafted dishes and warm atmosphere. The restaurant, once run by a cheerful old couple, faces closure after the passing of the grandfather. The granddaughter, determined to keep her grandfather’s culinary legacy alive, steps in to rebuild the business with her grandmother.
The art style and narrative elements are a lot like GAGEX’s previous hits. Gameplay will involve managing recipes, customizing the restaurant, and unlocking touching storylines as the business grows. While no official release date has been announced, Hungry Hearts Restaurant will have a japanese and global release, and it will be free-to-play with optional in-game purchases. Pre-registration is now available on Google Play and the App Store.
