Developed by WonderPlanet and published by Bushiroad Games, Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Survivor is now available on iOS and Android as a free-to-play title with in-app purchases. The game marks the franchise’s first step into the “survivor-like” roguelite genre, combining fast-paced combat with strategic party-building. Players can control beloved characters such as Gon, Killua, Kurapika, and Leorio, each wielding their signature Nen abilities in escalating battles against waves of enemies.
Gameplay emphasizes one-handed controls and party synergy, allowing players to form squads of four—one manually controlled leader and three auto-battle companions. Characters are divided into roles like attack, defense, support, and recovery, encouraging tactical combinations similar to mobile RPGs such as Vampire Survivors or HoloCure. Special S-rank characters feature animated “Cut-In” finishers, faithfully recreating iconic Nen techniques like Gon’s Jajanken or Killua’s Thunderbolt.
Pre-registration milestones were met with over 10 million sign-ups, rewarding early players with 3,000 Nemesis Stones, an exclusive S-rank Memory Scene (“The Beginning of the Adventure”), and guaranteed S-rank character tickets. Downloads are available globally via the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
