Jetpack Joyride Racing, the latest entry in Halfbrick Studios’ iconic arcade franchise, has announced the release date, we are going to have the game in August 27, 2025. Originally slated for a June release, the game’s App Store listing now confirms the updated date, giving us a few more weeks to wait.
This new title reimagines the Jetpack Joyride universe as a real-time multiplayer racing game, where up to six players compete across four dynamic tracks filled with obstacles, shortcuts, and boost zones. Players can race as familiar characters like Barry Steakfries, Josie, and Dan, each customizable with unlockable ships, trails, and skins.
The game emphasizes skill-based gameplay, with smooth controls and tactical elements like drifting and timed boosts. A dedicated Party Mode allows friends to team up and race together, while Halfbrick+ subscribers can enjoy an ad-free experience with access to exclusive content.
With over 750 million downloads across the Jetpack Joyride franchise, this new installment aims to blend arcade roots with competitive multiplayer gameplay, appealing to both longtime fans and newcomers. Currently, you can pre-register in the iOS App Store and the Google Play Store.
