Green Dream Studio has announced that Lumin: Echo of Spacetime will soon begin its closed beta testing phase in China, with recruitment open until March 15, 2026. The test, dubbed the “Erosion Test,” is focused on Android devices, though iOS and PC versions are also planned for later stages.
The game positions itself as a 3D side-scrolling action RPG, combining anime-inspired visuals with layered mechanics. As far we know, Lumin appears to lean more heavily into platforming and exploration, offering a mix of narrative-driven missions and environmental challenges. This design choice draws comparisons to titles like MapleStory and Hollow Knight, but with a modern ARPG twist.

The closed beta will allow testers to experience balanced difficulty levels, character progression, and puzzle integration, while providing feedback on combat fluidity and system performance. At present, regional limits apply, with the closed beta restricted to China-based players. However, given the studio’s marketing push and the growing popularity of anime ARPGs worldwide, a global release seems likely once testing concludes.
Interested players can pre-register through platforms like BiliBili and TapTap, I hope the game gets a international release.
