Kakao Games and developer Pixel Tribe have officially soft-launched NOVAFRONT, a futuristic RTS RPG now available for Android users in the Philippines. Thios is a war-torn future game where humanity battles against alien invaders known as the Quasers, commanding elite units called Novas in semi-automated tactical combat.
Unlike third-person shooters like Goddess of Victory: Nikke, NOVAFRONT leans into auto-battler mechanics, allowing players to guide their Novas across compact battlefields, trigger flashy ultimate skills, and manage unit positioning. The game features a mix of gacha progression, sci-fi storytelling, and real-time strategy, with early impressions noting its visual polish and genre familiarity.
The soft launch version includes limited content and monetization features, with global release plans still under wraps. Players outside the Philippines can expect future regional rollouts and expanded gameplay systems as Kakao Games gathers feedback and optimizes performance.
