Pirates Outlaws 2: Heritage set to launch on Android, iOS, and PC in 2025

Fabled Game Studio has announced the upcoming release of Pirates Outlaws 2: Heritage, a roguelike strategy deck builder, set to launch on Android, iOS, and PC in 2025. A sequel to the 2019 hit Pirates Outlaws, this new game introduces new mechanics and follows the story of a single hero navigating a pirate-infested world. I know we can expect two primary game modes: Campaign, offering exploration and adventures, and Arena, where players can unlock new content and challenge opponents.

As we can see in some gameplay, players will collect and fuse cards, gather relics for bonuses, and build strategic decks to defeat enemies. New gameplay mechanics include adjacent card effects and a countdown enemy action system, adding layers of complexity to the strategic battles. Players can also customize their hero with starter decks, unique ability cards, and a companion system to unlock powerful combos.

The game will be available on PC too via Steam, a test is scheduled for October 25, 2024, with the full release slated for 2025 (announced in their X/Twitter account). The game looks pretty good and I’m sure it will be successful, there are not many games in the mobile pirate world that have good levels of production behind them.
