Netflix Games has come out with an MMO called Spirit Crossing, yes, now it’s going into those swamplands too. Spirit Crossing is a life-simulation game developed by Spry Fox, the studio behind Cozy Grove. But here is the twist, this is a world where players can explore, build, and cultivate a thriving community together. In other words, it is not focused on competition.
In Spirit Crossing, players can gather resources, decorate homes, ride fluffy creatures, and even attend dance parties with friends. The game draws inspiration from Studio Ghibli, French comics, and modern illustration styles, creating a nice visual experience. With pastel tones and soothing music, it aims to be a long-term, stress-free escape rather than a game that demands constant grinding.
The game focuses on fostering meaningful relationships, both in-game and in real life. Studio co-founder David Edery emphasized that Spirit Crossing is designed to turn strangers into friends, a core principle of Spry Fox’s previous titles.

Netflix and Spry Fox have opened sign-ups for a closed alpha test, giving early adopters a chance to experience Spirit Crossing ahead of its full launch. Interested players can register on the game’s official website to secure a spot.
