Taimanin Squad – RPG Launches Worldwide in Android and iOS

Developed by Gremory Games, Taimanin Squad is the latest entry in the Taimanin universe, a franchise that began with visual novels and expanded into multiple action RPGs. The global release marks a nice move, as previous titles were often limited to Japanese audiences or had staggered international rollouts. Now available on iOS and Android, the game introduces a squad-based gacha system where players recruit iconic heroines from the series, each with unique skills and combat roles.

Gameplay emphasizes real-time battles with tactical squad composition. Players can form teams of three to five characters, balancing offense, defense, and support roles to tackle missions. The combat system blends automated mechanics with manual skill activation, offering accessibility for casual players while retaining depth for veterans. Progression is tied to character upgrades, equipment, and event-based rewards, ensuring long-term engagement.

Narratively, Taimanin Squad continues the franchise’s tradition of dark fantasy storytelling, focusing on heroines fighting against demonic forces in a dystopian setting. Story missions are fully voiced, and seasonal events expand the lore with new arcs and limited-time characters. The game’s art direction remains faithful to the franchise’s anime-inspired style, with polished character illustrations and cinematic cut-ins during special attacks.

The global release is not region-locked, making the game accessible worldwide through the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. There is a PC Steam edition too.
