The Apothecary Diaries: Palace Chronicles opens Pre-Registration for browser-based RPG

The first game for this anime. G123 has officially opened pre-registration for The Apothecary Diaries: Palace Chronicles, a browser-based simulation RPG inspired by the hit anime and light novel series The Apothecary Diaries (Kusuriya no Hitorigoto). The game will be available via the G123 HTML5 platform, allowing fans to play on smartphones, tablets, and PCs without downloads or installations.

Players will step into the shoes of Maomao, a sharp-witted apothecary navigating the intrigue of the imperial palace. The game features mission-based progression, relationship-building mechanics, and medicine crafting, all wrapped in a narrative faithful to the anime’s tone. Characters like Jinshi, Gyokuyou, and Gaoshun are rendered with detailed illustrations, and over 35 characters will be available at launch.

The pre-registration campaign includes milestone rewards:

  • 50,000 sign-ups: 50x Draw Tickets
  • 100,000 sign-ups: 20x Tea Items
  • 200,000 sign-ups: Unlock playable character Xiaolan

As far we know, the game aims to capture the palace drama and mystery-solving elements that made the anime a global success. The simulation format allows players to “raise Maomao,” solve cases, and explore both the palace and pleasure district. Fans can register now via the G123 official site and follow updates on the game’s official X account.
