The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is set to launch globally on January 28, 2026, bringing Netmarble’s ambitious open-world RPG to mobile, console, and PC audiences with new co-op features, multiverse storytelling, and fan-favorite character returns.
The game has quickly become one of the most anticipated mobile and cross-platform releases of early 2026. Revealed during The Game Awards 2025, the latest trailer showcased Unreal Engine 5-powered visuals, expansive exploration across Britannia, and real-time cooperative raid battles that echo MMORPG mechanics. Based on Nakaba Suzuki’s hit manga, the game introduces a fresh storyline centered on Tristan, prince of Liones, who discovers the mystical Book of Stars—a device that connects timelines while unleashing new threats.

Development-wise, Netmarble F&C has positioned Origin as a successor to The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross, but with a far broader scope. Unlike the gacha-driven battles of Grand Cross, Origin emphasizes open-world freedom, pet companions, and multiplayer raids, aligning it more with titles like Genshin Impact or Tower of Fantasy. The multiverse approach also grants creative flexibility, enabling crossovers of timelines and characters without disrupting the manga’s established ending.
Pre-registration campaigns have already rolled out worldwide, offering rewards to early adopters, while Netmarble confirmed availability on Android, iOS, PlayStation 5, and Steam, making it one of the few anime-inspired RPGs to span mobile and console ecosystems simultaneously. The announcement comes with a new trailer.
