Visual novels and RPGs make a great combination when they blend together, Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Purgatory, could be a great example of it. This upcoming visual novel is being developed by Different Tales, which promises an immersive storytelling with intricate gameplay.
The game is located in the universe of the Classic World of Darkness series. The narrative centers on Samira, an Afghan werewolf and refugee, who finds herself entangled in a supernatural conflict in Poland amidst a border crisis. Each decision made will shape the story, revealing more about Samira’s struggles and inner demons.
The game’s visuals and mechanics are designed to leverage the capabilities of modern touchscreen devices, offering a high-resolution display to enjoy the artwork and a user-friendly interface to manage the complex elements typical of tabletop RPGs.
