The mobile RPG, Ring of Fire (火环), has officially launched its “Fire Seeding Test”, a monetized and data-wiping Closed Beta Test (CBT) aimed at gathering crucial feedback from players. The recruitment for this exclusive Android-only test began on September 5, 2025, and will conclude on September 15, 2025, with the test itself scheduled to run from September 26 to October 3, 2025.
According to a detailed post on the Chinese gaming platform, TapTap (here to inscribe in the Beta), interested participants must complete a recruitment questionnaire for a chance to be selected. The test is restricted to users aged 18 and older, a requirement enforced through real-name verification.
The developers have also provided specific hardware recommendations to ensure a smooth gameplay experience, including devices with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 or Dimensity 9000 chip. This beta phase is a significant step in the game’s development, as it will be the first time players can test the game’s core mechanics and monetization features. Like in the first beta.
