Gravity Games has officially announced Ragnarok Abyss, the newly titled MMOARPG that continues the legacy of the Ragnarok Online franchise. Previously known as “Project Abyss: Next Ragnarok,” the game’s final name was selected through a global community naming contest, reinforcing Gravity’s commitment to fan-driven development.
Set to launch on Android, iOS, and PC, Ragnarok Abyss introduces a seamless open-world experience with fast-paced action combat, dynamic weather systems, and vibrant 3D visuals. Players will traverse expansive regions, customize characters, and engage in real-time battles against monsters and bosses.
Gravity promises cross-platform play and social features that support both solo adventurers and guild-based communities. Early gameplay footage showcased at G-Star 2024 revealed fluid movement, skill-based combat, and a rich fantasy setting that builds on the franchise’s Norse-inspired roots.
The official website and social media channels—including Facebook EN, Discord, and Gravity Game Hub—are now live, offering teasers and developer insights. While no release date has been confirmed, the game should be available global soon.
