The Korean game dev Webzen has officially opened pre-registration for Dragon Sword (드래곤소드), a new open-world action RPG developed by Hound 13. The game will be available now for Android and iOS users in South Korea, and promises a console-quality experience with fluid combat, expansive exploration, and deep character customization. Too much.
Originally revealed as Project D in 2021, Dragon Sword is set in the mystical continent of Orbis, a land once protected by divine forces but now plunged into chaos. Players join a band of mercenaries tasked with restoring balance, uncovering ancient secrets, and battling corrupted entities across diverse biomes.

As we know, gameplay features include real-time tag-team combat, character switching, and combo chaining, allowing players to adapt strategies mid-battle. The game also supports controller input, high-end graphics, and cinematic storytelling, positioning it as a premium mobile ARPG. The game completed a closed beta earlier this year, with feedback driving improvements in UI, performance, and skill responsiveness.
Pre-registration rewards include Magic Fragments, Ether Crystals, and exclusive gear, available via the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, just remember it is available only to Korean players. A global release is expected in early 2026, though no official date has been confirmed, but we can get more on their official website (alongside a PC Client).
